2. Picasa : appuyez simultanément sur les touches CTRL + SHIFT + Y pour faire apparaitre un petit ours en peluche. Plus vous faites la manip’, plus il en apparait !

3. Microsoft Word :

Pour faire appara^tre un jeu de Flipper, suivez les instructions suivantes ;

Ouvrez un nouveau document.

- Tapez ensuite le mot : Blue. (Bleu en anglais).

- Sélectionnez le mot.

- Cliquez sur le menu Format, puis cliquez sur l'item Police.

- Sélectionnez dans la liste des Style : Gras.

- Sélectionnez ensuite dans la liste Couleur de la police la couleur bleue.

- Tapez un espace après le mot Blue.

- Cliquez sur le menu ?, puis sur l'item À propos de Microsoft Word.

- Pressez simultanément les touches Ctrl et Shift (la touche avec la flèche vers le haut sous le cadenas).

- Cliquez sur le logo de Word à gauche de la fenêtre.

- Le flipper apparaît.

Pour faire apparaître un jeu avec des boites aux lettres, suivez les instructions ci-dessous ;

  Entrez dans le champ de recherche de contacts en haut, dans la barre d'outils : Ren Hoek.

 Un message apparait : "Outlook n'a pas trouvé le contact demandé". Cliquez sur OK.

- Cliquez ensuite sur le menu Outils, sur Macro, puis sur Macros...

- La fenêtre "Macros" apparait.

- Tapez dans le champ "Nom de la macro:" : OL2KRocks.

- Cliquez ensuite sur le bouton "Créer".

- La fenêtre "À propos de Microsoft Outlook" apparait.

- Maintenez simultanément enfoncées les touches Ctrl, Alt et Shift (Shift est la touche représentée par une flèche  vers le haut, en dessous de MAJ, la touche avec un cadenas) puis cliquez sur le bouton OK.

- Le jeu apparaît.

Pour y jouer : Déplacez la boîte aux lettres avec les touches haut et bas de votre pavé fléché, à côté du pavé numérique.                                                                                                                                                   5. Google Reader : 

tapez le code konami pour transformer le bouton « like » en petits coeurs qui s’animent au clic.

6. Microsoft Excel 2000 :

Pour faire apparaître un jeu de voitures de course 3D, suivez les instructions suivantes ;

- Démarrez Excel 2000.

- Dans le menu Fichier, faites 'Sauver en tant que page Web'.                                                                                 -Choisissez 'Publier' et 'Ajouter interactivité'.                                                                                                        - Sauvez votre page en .htm sur votre disque.

- Ouvrez le .htm avec votre IE. Vous avez à présent Excel au milieu de votre page.
- Allez à la ligne 2000, sélectionnez toute la ligne.
- Puis, à l'aide de la touche Tabulation, déplacez vous jusqu'à la colonne WC.
- Utilisez les touches SHIFT+CTRL+ALT et cliquez sur le logo Office en haut à gauche.
- Utilisez les fleches pour conduire, espace pour tirer, O pour lacher de l'huile, et H pour les lumières.

7. Google :

cherchez : answer to life the universe and everything   dans le moteur de recherche,                                    et vous aurez votre réponse : 42 !

8. OpenOffice.org Calc 2 et superieur :

 Un jeu nommé StarWars Galaxy, ayant le même principe que le jeu Space Invaders, se cache dans le tableur d'OpenOffice.org : Calc. Star-Wars consiste à tirer des missiles avec son vaisseau pour détruire les ennemis qui descendent petit à petit. Voici les instructions pour pouvoir y accéder :

 Lorsque le tableur d'OpenOffice.org est lancé, entrez dans n'importe quelle cellule la formule =GAME("StarWars") puis faitesEntrée.

La fenêtre "StarWars Galaxy" apparaît.

Choisissez maintenant le héros que vous allez incarner en cliquant sur son icône.

Une boîte de dialogue d'affiche, cliquez sur le bouton [Ok].

Un écran indiquant les scores pour chaque type d'ennemi apparaît.

Cliquez n'importe où dans la fenêtre du jeu pour accéder à la partie.

Dirigez votre vaisseau situé en bas de la fenêtre de gauche à droite avec la souris.

Tirez sur les ennemis en cliquant gauche avec la souris.

9. PHP, Liens Cachés :

 Cet Easter egg fonctionne sur tous les serveurs ayant installé PHP 4.x ou supérieur. Sur un autre site, si le nom d'une page fini par .php, rajouter dans la barre d'adresse l'une des fins de liens ci-dessus (commençant par le ?), puis faites Entrée.

10. Google Moon, Du gruyère sur la Lune :

 Google Moon permet de visualiser une photographie de la surface de la Lune avec certaines missions Appolo (11, 12, 14,   15, 16 et 17). Zoomer au maximum réserve une bonne surprise.

- Rendez vous sur le site de Google Moon.

- Zoomez au maximum grâce à l'ascenseur situé à gauche sur l'interface de Google Moon.

Je voudrais vous faire (re)découvrir les petites blagues que tous les développeurs ont toujours adoré faire et qui consistent à cacher des fonctionnalités secrètes dans une application ou un site web. On appelle cela un Easter Egg dont voici la définition par Wikipedia :

En informatique, un easter egg (locution anglaise, littéralement « œuf de Pâques ») est une fonction cachée au sein d’un programme (animation, jeu, message, etc.) accessible à partir d’un mot clé ou d’une combinaison de touches et de clics.

Google ne déroge pas à la règle et ses sites et applications recèlent de petites fonctionnalités cachées que l’on peut regrouper en six catégories. Je préviens les néophytes qu’il faut avoir une certaine culture geek pour comprendre toutes les significations de ces fonctionnalités. Je vais essayer tout au long de cet article de faire de mon mieux pour vous expliquer de quoi il s’agit.

1) Les différentes versions de la recherche Google

Hop, on commence par les fonctionnalités cachées du moteur de recherche. Toutes ses fonctionnalités « s’activent » en tapant la bonne recherche et en cliquant sur le bouton le plus inutilisé de Google : « J’ai de la chance » (« I’m feeling lucky » si vous êtes sur la version américaine du moteur).

On commence light : Vous connaissez le 1337 (lire leet s’il vous plait !) ? Un petit tour sur Wikipedianous apprend :

Le Leet speak (1337), de l’anglais « elite speak » (litt. « langage de l’élite »), est une écriture utilisant les caractères alphanumériques ASCII d’une manière peu compréhensible pour le néophyte (appelé noob et déclinaisons) pour s’en démarquer. Le principe est d’utiliser des caractères graphiquement voisins des caractères usuels, par exemple 5 au lieu de S, 7 au lieu de T et pour les extrémistes |_| au lieu de U ou |< au lieu de K, sans respect de l’orthographe ou des majuscules.

 Pour activer cette version spéciale de Google, tapez « Google l33t » et cliquez sur « J’ai de la chance ». Vous devriez voir ceci arriver :

 

 

 Vous voyez le petit H4×0r apparaître qui veut dire « Hacker » en 1337 (leet). (lisez l’article de wikipedia pour comprendre 

Bref, il existe plein de versions différentes de la recherche de Google, toujours en tapant la combinaison qui-va-bien et en cliquant sur « J’ai de la chance ».

  

2) Konami Code dans Google Reader

Vous avez dit « Konami Code », c’est quoi ? Comme d’habitude, on sort wikipedia :

Le code Konami est un cheat code qui peut être utilisé dans de nombreux jeux vidéode Konami, activant généralement une option secrète.

 

Le code Konami est une combinaison de touche :haut, haut, bas, bas, gauche, droite, gauche, droite, b, a et parfois il faut terminer par « entrer ». Ce code Konami marche un peu partout comme surFacebook mais aussi sur Google Reader. Vous verrez alors apparaître un petit samouraï en fond d’écran de votre liste de flux RSS !
C’est inutile, donc indispensable !

 

 

 

3) Aidez le gentil lapin a attraper les oeufs de Pâques

 

Ok, c’est tout sauf un easter egg, mais ça veut quand même dire qu’il y a un employé de Google qui s’est dit un matin : « Tiens, si je dessinais un lapin et je le faisais sauter pour qu’il attrape les lettres du mot Google qui tomberaient du ciel » et qui a passé la journée à être NON PRODUCTIF.

4) Gmail Paper, la petite blague

Google Mail vous propose depuis un article de son centre d’aide, de venir vous apporter en version papier tout le contenu de votre boite mail Gmail. Je dois dire que le How To en trois photos me fait beaucoup rire :

Vous pouvez donc découvrir Gmail Paper et je vous recommande les retours des beta testers. On y croirait presque !

 

5) Faites de l’avion de chasse dans Google Earth !

Et oui, les développeurs de Google sont même allés jusqu’à développer un simulateur de vol à l’intérieur du logiciel de visualisation de cartes Google Earth. Et on peut dire qu’il est assez complet ! Pour l’activer, il vous suffit d’appuyer simultanément sur : Ctrl Alt + A et c’est parti !!!
